Become a First Estate Trust Associate

If you are a CPA, insurance agent, registered representative, or other financial professional and are interested in adding estate planning services to your practice, you can become a First Estate Trust Associate planner. Upon successful completion of our training program, you will be able to offer a variety of estate planning solutions to your clientele and be compensated for your services.

Step One - Contact our office and schedule an online tour of the FET Associate program.

Step Two - Enroll in the FET Associate program by clicking here. A $275 enrollment fee is charged to cover the cost of training and resource materials.

Step Three - Complete the required training modules in the Associate console.

Once you have successfully completed the onsite tour and training, you are now ready to incorporate estate planning into your financial practice. You and your clients can then interactively provide the required information via our website, and once you have completed the required forms, the file is transmitted to an estate planning attorney in their specific state who will review the file, formally interview the client, and confirm the entries with your client. Once this step is completed, the appropriate documents and printed, bound, and shipped to you for delivery to your client.

REFERRAL PROGRAM: Many planners want to make estate planning services available to their clientele, but are either prohibited from participating in outside business activities or simply prefer to focus on their primary field of expertise.

FET can provide estate planning services for your clients on a referral basis. Simply complete and return a Referral Form to our office and we will contact the client on your behalf. There is NO FEE to participate in our estate planning program on a referral basis.

We will perform the required interviews and analysis and our Attorney Network will provide suitable recommendations based on the client's specific wants and needs. As we don't sell insurance nor investment products, any risk management or funding needs identified will be referred back to you (or a trusted associate you recommend) to provide these products or services to your client.

Where permitted, a nominal fee will be paid for business transacted as a result of a planner referral.
